Ethics
Your voice, choices, and dignity come first
We work beside clients—not against clinicians, insurers, or families—to seek clear information and practical next steps.
Our commitments
- Respect each client's autonomy, informed choices, privacy, culture, faith, and personal values.
- Serve without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or ability to pay.
- Explain conflicts of interest and financial relationships before work begins.
- Use collaborative, factual communication and never promise an outcome.
- Refer matters beyond our non-clinical scope to qualified professionals.
Faith and prayer
We are Christian-owned and seek to serve with compassion, honesty, humility, and respect. Prayer may be offered only when a client welcomes it. No person must share our beliefs, and faith is never a condition of service or a promise of healing or results.
Professional reference
Our policies are informed by the joint 2022 Code of Ethics for Patient & Health Care Advocates associated with NAHAC, PACB, and HealthAdvocateX. We reference that public standard without reproducing it or claiming endorsement.
Practical Patient Advocacy does not currently claim NAHAC membership. We do not currently claim BCPA certification.
